#8: Trek Border Battle
White Tail Ridge ~ River Falls, WI

From The Director...
The Trek Border Battle, race # 8 in the 2009 Wisconsin Off Road Series (WORS) and the eighth race of the 2009 Minnesota State Championship Series (MNSCS). After a successful merging of these two series in 2005 in Eau Claire it was deemed time to do it again with a new twist. Residents of Minnesota and Wisconsin will compete for bragging rights and a traveling trophy as part of this event. Wisconsin carried home the prize in 2008, so Minnesota is ready for a rematch!

The Route Bike Shops and local MTB club Kinnickinnic Off-Road Cyclists bring the Trek Border Battle to you. White Tail Ridge Corporate Park, in River Falls, plays host to this popular event. The trails at White Tail Ridge present a course that is a challenging mix of predominantly single and double track with some areas of wide-open field sections for added passing opportunities. Additional passing lanes have been added to accommodate the popularity of the event in 2009. For a preview of the course, check out the virtual rides on www.muddypawracing.com
Conveniently located just south of interstate 94, a short drive from the Minneapolis area, and with easy access from most Wisconsin locals, the Trek Border Battle beckons all to come witness and participate in this fun event. We invite you to spend the weekend with us!
