From The Director...
Welcome to one of Wisconsin’s premier off-road mountain bike races, the Chippewa Valley Firecracker! The Firecracker’s incredible course twists, turns and climbs through Eau Claire’s Lowes Creek Park to remind you of what mountain biking is all about.

Our goal is to provide you a unique and rewarding experience in mountain biking competition. Our course architects have once again linked together an amazing, interconnecting network of trails that will take you far beyond the typical boundaries of racing. From start to finish, you will be both exhilarated and pushed to your limit at the same time.

This year’s event starts off on Friday, July 3rd as we invite you to join us for a group mountain bike night ride at 8pm followed by local fireworks, a bonfire and camping.

Saturday, July 4th with be filled with great activities for the whole family. Play in the FREE Rock ‘n Roll to Go Family Fun Zone, pre-ride the course and enjoy our popular all-you-can-eat pasta feed (still only $5). Settle in for the night with a campfire and watch a movie on our 25’ screen.

Sunday, July 5th commemorates the 5th annual Chippewa Valley Firecracker! Start your day with an amazing all-you-can-eat breakfast (still only $5). Enjoy our expo area with local vendors, FREE Rock ‘n Roll to Go Family Fun Zone, Marshfield Clinic Racer Lounge, Beastro Dog Daycare area, concessions with food for purchase and Leader-Telegram Mist Tunnel to enjoy during the race. Spectators can cheer you on from our easy-access Monster Energy Zone. After you wear yourself out winning your race, relax at the Marshfield Clinic Racer Lounge and enjoy the shade, free snacks and water and don’t forget, we will have great schwag and door prizes!!!!

Course Description
Fast rolling trails with exciting singletrack twisting and turning through Lowes Creek County Park. Open sections provide opportunity to hammer, while technical singletrack will test your skills with tight corners, side hills, creek crossings, quick drops, and power climbs.

* Prices listed are for USA Cycling Mountain annual members. A one day license for non-members is $5. Pro/Category 1 entrants are required to have a UCI International or USA Cycling Mountain annual license. All USA Cycling members are required to present their license at number pick-up. How To Get There
From the East/West/South: Hwy I-94 to Exit 68 towards Eleva/Eau Claire. Turn Right onto WI-93 South. Turn Right onto Lorch Ave. Lorch Ave. turns into Fairview Dr. End at 5530 Fairview Drive.

From the North: Follow W-124 South, which becomes US-53/Hastings Way. Merge onto W-93 S. toward Eleva/Mall Drive. Turn Right onto Lorch Ave. Lorch Ave. turns into Fairview Dr. End at 5530 Fairview Drive.
