#10: Treadfest
Grand Geneva Resort ~ Lake Geneva, WI

From The Director...
TREADHEADS welcome WORS to the Lake Geneva area for the 4th consecutive year. TREADFEST IV showcases an always evolving trail system at the Grand Geneva Resort. TREADHEADS have been busy improving a trail featuring multiple race course options with a variety of terrain and technical features for all levels of riders. Features include the infamous “Rock Garden”, the white knuckle drop of the “Colorado Heartbreaker”, the smooth fast lines of “The Pines”, the wood bridges in “Butch’s Playground” and the carving corners of The Big “O”. For those who are not out on the trail, the Mountain Top Lodge offers great indoor and outdoor viewing of much of the trail system for family and friends.
After a very successful inaugural year the TREADHEAD TRAIL RUN returns for 2010. The Trail Run course offers a great cross section of trail to fit the novice to most experienced runner. TREADFEST will also feature a consumer expo and various activities including: Tread Head Cycling Learn to Race Clinic on Saturday afternoon, the Next Door Pub pasta feed Saturday night (bring your NDP coupon!), and say “HI” to Melissa and Laura during an onsite massage provided by Healing Body & Soul.

In addition to the TREADFEST fun, Tread Head Cycling’s strives to give riders of all ability and riding styles a fun, positive environment to explore the joy of riding a bike. In addition, we aim to give the TREADHEAD spirit back to the roads and trails through avid involvement in bicycle advocacy groups and projects. We welcome all riders to join Tread Head Cycling on our regular Tuesday and Thursday rides at RRB Cycles in Lake Geneva, as well as our many other events during the year. Please check www.treadheadcycling.com for details.
