#10: Treadfest
Grand Geneva Resort ~ Lake Geneva, WI

From The Director...
2009 marks the 3rd Year of WORS in the Lake Geneva area. TREADFEST III showcases a mature trail system at the Grand Geneva Resort featuring multiple race course options with a variety of terrain and technical features for all levels of riders from the infamous rock garden, fast winding single track, and over a 1/2 mile of newly added a bit more forgiving terrain for the novice riders. The Mountain Top Lodge offers great indoor and outdoor viewing of much of the trail system for family and friends.

New at TREADFEST this year is the TREADHEAD TRAIL RUN that offers a great cross section of trail to fit the novice to most experienced runner. TREADFEST will also feature a consumer expo and other various activities including: Tread Head Cycling Learn to Race Clinic on Saturday afternoon, a pasta feed Saturday night at the popular Next Door Pub, and onsite massages by Body & Soul.

Tread Head Cycling’s goal is to give riders of all ability levels and riding styles a fun and positive environment to explore the joy of riding a bike. We are dedicated to promoting bicycle riding in all its splendid forms with a focus on helping fellow TREADHEADS get the most out of his or her riding experience. In addition to this, we aim to give the TREADHEAD spirit back to the roads and trails we ride through regular involvement in bicycle advocacy projects. We welcome all riders to join us on our regular Tuesday and Thursday rides at RRB Cycles in Lake Geneva, as well as our many other events during the year. Please check www.treadheadcycling.com for details.

Course Description
Designed and built by racers for racers, this course brings out the best of Mountain Top at Grand Geneva as it shifts from tight, technical and singletrack to wide-open big ring double-track. Knee burning climbs are rewarded with fast and fun descents. Hear the roar of the crowd as you finish in front of spectator-friendly Mountain Top Lodge.
