Don, am I to asume they are not collecting the 5 dollar fee for USA Cycling in the new online pre reg system so see will still have to pay at registration.
The reasons we do have an option for purchasing a one day license with pre-registration are 1) we have no way of checking license online. 2) it is difficult to communicate to the registration volunteers who has paid for and who has not paid for the one day.
Annual license holder are required to have their license with them at races, so it is an easy and effect to ask each registrant to either show their license or purchase a one day license when going through bib pick-up at the event.
